Dance performances present the audience with choreography and movement that are entertaining and evocative. Ballet, break dance, modern, tap, and folk dances from around the world bring together families and connect the generations. Panel discussions afterward explore the aesthetic values and interpretations.
At the Center, Heidi Latsy’s troupe mesmerized the audience with able-bodied dancers performing alongside those with physical challenges, and Max Pollak set the stage ablaze with RumbaTap, a combination of Afro-Cuban rhythms.
This year Savion Glover (pictured above) returns for a special performance.
