Welcome to The Bernie Wohl Center
The Community Arts Programs’ hub is the Bernie Wohl Center at 91st and Columbus Avenue. The Center is also home to one of Goddard Riverside’s after school and summer day camp programs. Named for Goddard Riverside’s former Executive Director, the late Bernie Wohl, the inviting 42’ x 33’ space features a stage, acoustic walls and ceiling, and blackout shutters. We can transform the versatile auditorium into a concert hall, a theater in the round, a dance performance space, an art gallery or a venue for film viewings. It comfortably seats 100 for an intimate arts experience. We invite you to join us for the third season of Goddard Riverside’s Community Arts Programs. We promise a richly varied program of film, music, dance, theater, art and community events for all ages. Community Arts Programs
WHERE ARTS AND COMMUNITY CONNECT
Goddard Riverside Community Arts is now in its third exciting season. Inspiring, entertaining and informative, Community Arts aims to give everyone the opportunity to see and experience performing and visual arts. Our programs reflect the rich diversity of the Upper West Side. We partner with such other organizations as the Young People’s Chorus of New York, TheEdwardMorganBallet, Hudson Warehouse, and the Joan Mitchell Foundation, to offer the highest quality cultural arts programs.
The Community Arts Program is partially funded by a gift from the Mirken Family.
